The Band

Kory has performed throughout Minnesota and the western United States in his fifty year career. He has formed bands and recorded with luminary musicians including Dave Ray and John Beach. Kory performed and recorded with his close friends Rich Lewis and Tim Belden in the Rich Lewis Band for thirty years. Kory continues to drum with RLB because he loves the music and the musicians, and the community of great people who support the band.

Tim started playing in rock and roll bands in the mid ‘60s. He  has played with many great local Twin Cities bands and backed up some international ones as well. Over the years, his bands have warmed up for Adele, NRBQ and Los Lobos. He has performed with Wanda Jackson, Joey Molland, Tiny Tim, and many more. Kory and Tim first started playing together when they were 15 years old!

Faye Lewis has been singing all of her life. She comes from a musical background, singing with her father Rich Lewis. These experiences shaped and developed her love of music and singing, as well as creative style. She was one of the lead singers in the local Twin Cities band Shakedown city for several years. She has also performed with the musical dance company Rhythm Street Movement in their long running show, “Who brought the humbug.” She has other credits on different musical genres, such as hip hop local Robb Hayes, with whom she collaborated and helped produce some of his earlier tracks.

Peter has played guitar in RLB for a little over ten years. He has  played around the Twin Cities in different bands for several decades. He loves the camaraderie and fun of live music, giving him the chance to interact with audiences.  Peter enjoys being a part of an exciting band that has a wide variety of songs in its repertoire. 

Charlie is the newest  member of RLB. He has been playing around the Twin Cities area for over 45 years. He started playing guitar at twelve, playing in church and with local basement bands. At the age of fifteen Charlie moved to the Twin Cities where he quickly jumped into the local music scene. Upon a suggestion from a friend, he started to play bass, mainly because of the lack of bass players in the area. From that point forward, he has played bass, both electric and acoustic, with a variety of bands and styles of music. Some of the bands Charlie has played with are: Inside Straight, Will Sumner’s Tropic Zone, The Seville’s, Billy McGlaughlin, Zafra, Shrewd Mammals, The Riddle Brothers, and now RLB. During that time, he shared the stage with the following musicians: Sam and Dave, Jr. Walker, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Koko Taylor, Roy Buchanan, Gato Barbieri, Peter Tosh, and the Temptations.
